ZTE Small Fresh 3 with Fingerprint Sensor & Metal body Launched at $154

After launching the Blade X3, X5 and X9 smartphones in Russia, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, ZTE has officially launched a new smartphone in China called as Small Fresh 3. The device sports a full metal body and also features a fingerprint scanner on the back of the handset. The all metal budget smartphone costs 990 Yuan (approx $154) and will go on sale on December 4th in China.

Regarding specifications, the Small fresh 3 flaunts a 5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD IPS display with 294ppi as pixel density. Under the hood, it is equipped with the MediaTek MT6735 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with 2GB RAM, 8GB onboard storage and microSD card slot for further expansion.

On the camera front, the device sports a 13MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front-facing camera for video chats and crisp selfie images. The device supports dual sim dual standby and comes with standard connectivity options like 4G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and a microUSB port with OTG functionality.

The smartphone comes backed by a 2800mAh battery that can easily last for an entire day on a single charge. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based MiFavor 3.2 OS out of the box. The dimensions of the handset measure 142 x 70.2 x 8.9 mm weighs around 137 grams and will be available in Gray, Gold, and Rose Gold color variants.

The ZTE Small Fresh 3 will have to face tough competition from the likes of recently launched Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and Meizu Metal smartphones that not only comes with the metallic body and fingerprint scanner but also has powerful specifications.
