ZTE a Chinese smartphone manufacturer has introduced some good value for money smartphones in recent times. Now, they have come up with yet another big screen yet cheap smartphone ZMAX 2 for AT&T in the US. ZMAX 2 is the successor to ZMAX that released last year and was a big hit under $250 offered by T-Mobile.
The main highlight of the ZMAX 2 is its large 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display. Apart from the massive display it offers decent specs at an affordable price point. The device comes powered by Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz coupled with Adreno 306 GPU. The smartphone offers 2GB RAM, 16GB onboard storage and microSD card slot for expansion upto 32GB.
It sports an 8MP auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing shooter for video calling and selfie clicks. The device supports dual sim dual standby and connectivity options on this handset includes 4G-LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS and microUSB port. The smartphone comes backed by a 3000mAh battery and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. The dimensions of the handset measure 154 x 76 x 9.4 mm weighing around 170 grams and will be available Black color.
The ZTE ZMAX 2 will be available from AT&T and TracFone starting September 25th for $149.99. It is $100 cheaper than last year’s ZMAX that was launched for T-Mobile.
