Asus Prime Transformer to Launch in Italy, Netherlands & European Countries

Eee Pad Prime LogoWhile LG chose to go with Optimus Series, Samsung with their Galaxy Series, the Asus had chosen to take “Transformers” series to take it forward and on the similar lines Asus has now launched its plans to enter into the Netherlands market with the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime. Earlier it was told that on November 9th itself this will be made available but now it doesn’t seem to be available in Europe by the Christmas which was earlier mentioned by Team Asus. Now the new tentative date for this to arrive in Netherlands is on January 6th.

For all those who are not aware of the specs then to brief it up, this tablet comes with an impressive 10.1 inches of size powered with a solid high resolution of 1280 by 800 pixels which a normal laptop has these days, comes powered with the never before and the latest Quad Core Tegra 3 processor with an Operating system updated with the Honeycomb 3.2 version straight out of the box and is upgradable to the Android 4.0 ice Cream Sandwich version as in when it comes. Coming to the add on hardware features when this come with the USB Slot, HDMI connections, front as well as the back camera, Wi Fi, Bluetooth and also has one micro SD slot.

While Samsung is marching ahead by launching the Smart phones, Asus has chosen the tablet space to bombard with new models along with power packed hardware which Samsung still have not adopted wither in smart phones nor in tablets. This tablet comes with an incredible thickness of 8.9 mm and now matches the design stats with the Zen book which is an ultra book series from the house of Asus again. In all this weighs just 600 gms which is just a little when compared with other leading tab, Samsung Galaxy Tab 750.

The price of this will be $ 499 which is the Wi Fi only version in the US and might cost the same in Europe for around € 499. Any price changes can only be commented on or after January, 09, 2012 when this laptop will be launched commercially and will be available in the markets of Italy. With bigger than Life experience, the quad core mobile processors is all set to redefine the new benchmarks in not only Smart phones but also is all set to create ripples when it comes to the tablet experience. According to our close sources in Asus, we have also learnt that Asus is all set to come up soon with its all new refreshed range of smart phones which will be powered with the next generation mobile Quad Core processors with the Tegra 3 line up, though there is no timeline for the same but its expected very soon.
