Celkon, the Indian smartphone manufacturer, is known for launching affordable handsets targeting mainly the category budget users. The company has recently launched a 4G-LTE enabled smartphone in its Diamond series called as Celkon Diamond 4G Plus priced at Rs. 6,999. Today, the brand has launched a low-end 4G-LTE supported the tablet in its Diamond series called as Celkon Diamond 4G Tab 7. The entry-level tablet is listed on the third party online store and will go sale in the country soon.
Coming to the specifications part, the Celkon Diamond 4G Tab 7 flaunts a 7-inch (1024×600 pixels) WSVGA IPS display with 170ppi as pixel density and comes equipped with unspecified 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. The device comes with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of built-in storage that can be further expanded to 32GB via a microSD card slot. The device supports dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based company’s customized OS laid on top.
On the camera department, the tablet features a 3.2MP rear camera with LED flash and a 1.3MP front-facing camera for video chats and selfie clicks. As the name indicates, the tablets support 4G-LTE and includes other basic connectivity options like 2G/3G HSPA+, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and microUSB 2.0 port. The device comes backed by a 3000mAh battery that can easily last for an entire day on a single charge. The Celkon Diamond 4G Tab 7 comes in Black and Dark Blue color option and is currently listed at Rs. 5,990. The tablet features 7-inch WVGA display, 1.3GHz quad-core SoC, 512MB RAM, 4GB storage, 2MP primary camera, 2MP selfie shooter, OTG support and runs on older Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.
