Coolpad has gained immense popularity in the budget segment courtesy the Coolpad Note 3 and Note 3 Lite that offered perfect specifications at right pricing. As teased earlier, Coolpad has today launched its flagship smartphone called as Coolpad Max in India. After disrupting the budget segment, it looks like the brand is eyeing on the premium segment with its new offering. The Coolpad Max is a complete package of beautiful design and powerful specifications and is similar to Coolpad Fengshang Max that launched in China last year.
Talking about the specifications part, the Coolpad Max comes equipped with a 5.5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) full-HD IPS display with 401ppi as pixel density and 2.5D curved edge Corning Gorilla Glass laid on top for protection. Under the hood, it comes powered by Snapdragon 617 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz paired with Adreno 405 GPU and 4GB of RAM. It has hybrid sim slot that can be alternatively used as microSD card instead of the second sim. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with a guaranteed upgrade to Android Marshmallow in near future.
