Download Android M Developer Preview 3 for Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 9 & Nexus Player

After many rumors, Google finally named its all new mobile operating system as #Marshmallow and will be dubbed as Android 6.0. Alongside the announcement of Marshmallow 6.0 OS, Google has also released the 3rd version of Android M Developer Preview which is much stable version than the previous 2 versions. This new software version of Marshmallow 6.0 supports Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 9 and Nexus Player which can be flashed into the same. For all those users who are on the Marshmallow 6.0 Release 2 will be getting the OTA updates for the same.

While we will come out with the detailed tutorials on how you can apply this latest Marshmallow 6.0 updates in your Nexus devices, till then you can download the same from Google’s Android Developer page and flash it in your devices. The changes in this 3rd version seems to be very minimal as this update contains few simple adjustments when it comes to Permissions UI and also comes with the support for Fingerprint API which won’t affect the hardware version. Alongside this, Google also erected the statues of droid having marshmallow at Google HQ today. Also, Google announced the Marshmallow 6.0 SDK today. This is the final M preview of Android M called as Marshmallo 6.0.

Android 6.0 SDK can be installed directly from either your current Android SDK manager or alternatively it can also be installed freshly from here. As of now there are no updates on when this update will be pushed to the Lollipop 5.1 devices but Google is expected to release Android 6.0 update by September or in October.
