All about Google’s Project Sunroof – a tool to calculate savings for opting solar

This tool is available in San Francisco Bay Area, Fresno (in central California), and the Boston area for now. This tool uses the high resolution aerial mapping to help you calculate the roof’s solar energy potential, without having to climb up any ladders. Also, Google recommends you the installation size to generate close to 100% of your electricity use, based on roof size, the amount of sun hitting the roof, and your electricity bill.
