Huawei has been in the rumor mills for a while now about the launch of its upcoming Huawei P9 series smartphones. The P9 series smartphones are expected to come with dual rare camera setup and will be unveiled at an event scheduled for April 6th. Today, a new high-end tablet from Huawei has passed through TENAA certification revealing the first look and few key specifications of the upcoming tablet. The new tablet comes with model number Huawei PLE-703L and is expected to be upgraded variant of the Huawei MediaPad X2 and will be named as Huawei MediaPad X3.
As per the TENAA listing, the Huawei PLE-703L flaunts a 7-inch (1920×1200 pixels) full-HD TFT display that offers a pixel density of 323ppi and comes powered by an unknown octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. We can expect it to pack a Hisilicon Kirin 930 octa-core SoC clubbed with Mali-T628 MP4 GPU. The device will support dual sim dual standby and is supposed to run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box. It has 2GB of RAM, 16GB of onboard storage and also includes a microSD card slot for further expansion of memory upto 128GB.
Coming to the design, the device is expected to feature a polycarbonate body with the power button and volume rockers placed on the right edge. The tablet will also include side-mounted a fingerprint sensor for enhanced security. It will sport a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front shooter for video chats and selfie lovers. Connectivity options for the device include 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi and microUSB 2.0 port.
