LYF, a smartphone brand owned by Reliance, earlier this month announced three new smartphones called as LYF Flame 2, Wind 4 and Water 7. Apart from the announcement, no other details about the smartphones were revealed. Today, all the three handsets are listed on LYF’s official website that shows the complete specifications and pricing details. The LYF Flame 2 is an entry-level smartphone and is priced at Rs. 5,549. The LYF Wind 4 is a battery-focused listed at Rs. 9,699 and lastly the LYF Water 7 is the mid-range handset and costs Rs. 18,750.
Let’s deep dive into the specifications:
LYF Flame 2
The LYF Flame 2 flaunts a 4-inch (480×800 pixels) WVGA display with 233ppi as pixel density and comes equipped with MediaTek MT6735M quad-core processor clocked at 1GHz clubbed with Mali-T720 GPU and 1GB of RAM. The device supports dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. It comes with 8GB of internal storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card slot upto 32GB.
On the camera front, the smartphone sports a 5MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front shooter for video chats and selfie clicks. Connectivity options on the device include 4G-LTE, VoLTE, VoWiFi, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and microUSB 2.0 port. The handset comes backed by a 1500mAh battery that is rated to offer upto 7.5 hours of talk time and upto 190 hours of standby time. The dimensions of the smartphone measure 124.2 x 64.8 x 10.3 mm weighs around 145 grams and comes in Black and White color variants.
LYF Wind 4

The LYF Wind 4 comes with a 5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD IPS display offering a pixel density of 294ppi and packs a Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor clocked at 1.1GHz paired with Adreno 304 GPU. The smartphone supports dual sim dual standby with VoLTE, VoWiFi and other standard connectivity options like 4G-LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and microUSB 2.0 port with OTG. It has 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and also includes an externalSD card option for expansion of memory upto 32GB.
On the photographic section, the device is equipped with an 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP selfie snapper. The highlight of the Wind 4 is it powers a massive 4000mAh battery that offers upto 28 hours of talk time and upto 630 hours of standby time. The device provides nice grip with the leather back panel and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. Its dimensions measure 144 x 72 x 8.9 mm weighs around and will arrive in Black, Blue, and Brown Color options.
LYF Water 7

The LYF Water 7 is the highest quality among all the three devices. The device features 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) full-HD IPS display with 401ppi as pixel density and Dragontrail glass laid on top of it for protection. Under the hood, it packs 64-bit Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz coupled with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB of RAM for smooth performance. The device has hybrid sim slot that lets you use microSD card slot instead of the second sim. It supports dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box with planned upgrade to Android Marshmallow in future.
On the camera cordon, the device features a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera for video chats and stunning selfie images. It has 16GB of built-in storage and also includes a microSD card option for expansion upto 128GB. The handset packs a 3000mAh battery that delivers upto 14 hours of talk time and upto 150 hours of standby time. The smartphones feature an all-metal unibody design and also includes a fingerprint sensor for enhanced security. Connectivity options on the handset include 4G-LTE, VoWiFi, VoLTE, Bluetooth and microUSB port. Its dimensions measure 155.3 x 77.2 x 8.55 mm and weighs around 160 grams.
