The domestic smartphone manufacturer, Intex has recently launched a low-end smartphone in its Cloud series called as Intex Cloud Champ. The device comes with all the basic specifications required in a smartphone and will be available for sale via both online and offline platforms across the country priced at Rs. 3,999. The dual sim dual standby supported smartphone runs on older Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box.
Talking about the specifications, the Cloud Champ comes with a 4.5-inch (480×854 pixels) FWVGA TFT display offering a pixel density of 218ppi. Under the hood, it comes powered by MediaTek MT6572X dual-core processor clocked at 1.0GHz coupled with Mali 400 GPU and 512MB RAM. On the camera front, the smartphone sports a 5MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera for video chats and selfie clicks. The smartphone comes with basic connectivity options like 2G/3G, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and microUSB port.
The smartphone has 4GB of internal storage and also includes a microSD card slot for expansion upto 32GB. The handset comes backed by a 1700mAh battery that the company claims can last upto 7 hours of talk time and upto 298 hours of standby time. Like other Intex smartphones, the Cloud Champ also comes with lots of pre-installed apps like Intex Zone, Hangout, Google Drive and many more. The dimensions of the device measure 136 x 67.5 x 8.7 mm weighs around 132 grams and comes in Champagne, Silver, White and Black color options.
To recap, Intex has recently launched a budget 4G-LTE smartphone in its Aqua series called as Intex Aqua Star 4G priced at Rs. 6,499. The smartphone comes with unique iData Saver feature powered by Opera Max that helps to save data consumption upto 50% in images, web-pages and various streaming apps. The device features 5-inch HD display, MediaTek MT6735P SoC, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, 8MP primary camera, 2000mAh battery and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
