Intex has recently released many smartphones with 4G support with the rise in demand for the 4G-LTE enabled handsets in the market. The company has recently launched an ultra-low-cost smartphone in the Aqua series called as Intex Aqua 4G Strong. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 4,499 and is one among the cheapest smartphones with VoLTE support. Today, the brand has unveiled an affordable 4G-LTE enabled device in its Cloud series called as Intex Cloud Jewel in India. The handset comes with decent features and is also priced aggressively at Rs. 5,999.

Talking about the specifications, the Intex Cloud Jewel 5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD IPS display with 294ppi as pixel density. Under the hood, the device comes equipped with 64-bit MediaTek MT6735 quad-core processor clocked at 1GHz clubbed with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM for lag-free and smooth performance. It supports dual sim dual standby with 4G-LTE and includes other necessary connectivity options like 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB 2.0 port. It has 16GB of built-in storage and also includes a microSD card slot for further expansion of memory upto 32GB.
On the camera front, the smartphone is equipped with an 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera for video chats and selfie clicks. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based company’s customized UI overlaid, and there is no information about the latest Android Marshmallow update.
