The small Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Leagoo has released impressive affordable smartphones in market in the last couple of months. Today, the company has officially announced a new entry-level smartphone in the Elite series called as Leagoo Elite Y in China. The smartphone is mainly targeted towards the young users and will also be offered with interchangeable back covers in five vibrant colors like Yellow, Blue, Red, Pink, and Green. The price of the smartphone is yet to be disclosed, but we can expect it to be priced on the lower side.
Talking about the specifications, the Leagoo Elite Y comes with a 5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD IPS display offering a pixel density of 294ppi. The smartphone comes equipped with MediaTek MT6735P quad-core processor clocked at 1.0GHz paired with Mali-400 MP GPU and 1GB of RAM. The device supports dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based Leagoo OS 1.1 out of the box. It comes with standard connectivity options like 4G-LTE/3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi and microUSB 2.0 port.
On the photographic section, the smartphone sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera for video chats and perfect selfie images. The device comes with 8GB of onboard storage and also includes a microSD card slot for expansion upto 32GB. The handset comes backed by a 2500mAh battery that can easily last for an entire day considering the low-end specifications of the device. The main USP of the device is it sports Unique Back Touch panel with which you can capture a snap, open a specified app, wake up the screen without your fingers touching the display. The Alfa 2 features 5-inch HD display, unspecified quad-core SoC, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 13MP primary camera, 5MP front shooter, 2600mAh battery with LGQC1.5 Flash Charging technology and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
