Meizu Pro 6 with Helio X25 Deca-Core SoC & Android Marshmallow Spotted on GFXBench

The Chinese smartphone maker, Meizu has gathered a lot of attention in the recent times about the launch of its upcoming flagship smartphone called as Meizu Pro 6. The earlier rumors suggested the device to sports 6GB of RAM and 3D Touch feature like the Apple’s iPhone 6S. Recently, the brand has confirmed that the Meizu Pro 6 will exclusively come with all-new MediaTek Helio X25 deca-core SoC. Today, the Meizu Pro 6 has popped up on the GFXBench database revealing more information about the upcoming flagship smartphone.

As per the GFXBench listing, the Meizu Pro 6 will come with a 4.6-inch (1080×1920 pixels) full-HD display, but we can expect the smartphone to feature a 5.5-inch display same as its predecessor. Under the hood, it will come powered by MediaTek Helio X25 deca-core processor clocked at 2.5GHz paired with Mali T880 GPU. The Meizu Pro 6 once unveiled will the first smartphone to pack Helio X25 SoC. It is listed in 3GB/4GB RAM variants, 32GB of internal storage and will also include a microSD card slot for further expansion of memory. We can also expect a high-end 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage variant of the device.

On the camera front, the smartphone will come equipped with a 20MP rear camera with LED flash, 4K video recording support and a 5MP front-facing shooter for video chats and selfie lovers. The smartphone will support dual sim dual standby and will run on latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow based latest Flyme OS overlaid. Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G-LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and microUSB port. Apart from this, no other information about the smartphone is revealed.

Recently, few images of the smartphone were leaked online hinting at the design of the Pro 6. The design of the device will mostly resemble the Meizu Pro 5 with minor changes. The smartphone features an all-metal unibody with curved edges, unique antenna placement and bezel-less borders. Like its predecessor, the smartphone also includes a physical home button that double’s up as fingerprint sensor.
