We are just a week away from the most awaited Samsung UnPacked event which is going to be held in Berlin, Germany. The Samsung UnPacked is an event where Samsung announces their new product launches. During the Samsung UnPacked event Episode I held on March 22, 2011, Samsung unveiled Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 and 10.1 tablets. So there is something more expected in the Episode II to be held on September 1, 2011.
In news, continuing its Galaxy mobile phone series, Samsung has announced Galaxy M Pro a new mobile handsets into the market. This mobile phone will be showcased at UnPacked event along with three other mobiles phones in the same famous Galaxy Series.
The Galaxy M Pro is the classification of Samsung’s M Series (M Series generally has touch and type along with QWERTY layout) in similar to Galaxy Pro but its packs a punch inside. The Galaxy M Pro has 2.66 inches display screen with 480 x 320 pixels resolution. The M Pro mobile phone also includes optical trackpad and includes multi format music playback along with video player. Its provided with microSD card slot which has expandable memory of up to 32 GB.
It ports a QWERTY layout which is similar to as that we have seen on Galaxy Pro along with slim at 9.97mm. It some of the decent hardware like 3G HSDPA connectivity at 7.2 Mbps speed, 1 G Hz processor and supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n data connectivity along with Bluetooth 3.0.
With Galaxy series mobile phone run on Android operating system powered by Google, then why not Galaxy M Pro which is powered with Android 2.3 the latest Gingerbread operating system. Along with impressive 5 mega pixel camera on the rear facing side it has a basic VGA camera for 3G video calls and video chat. Yes, it’s possible to have 720p HD video recording but 1080p will be the point to look out. It will come with defaults Google Services like Google Maps, Gmail, Picasa, YouTube along with enterprise apps like Cisco Mobile, Webex, Sybase Afaria etc.,
It’s powered with 1350 mAh battery which is quite sufficient enough to run the mobile phone for24 hours usage. And as usual with announcement of the mobile phones, we have no information on the availability of it and price tag attached with it.
