Samsung to Launch 2 Ghz Galaxy Tablet 11.6 at Mobile World Congress

Just like Consumer Electronics Show 2012, the Mobile World Congress will draw a big attention. Mobile World Congress event is scheduled for the dates of February 27 till March 1, 2012. During these four days a lot many things we would see and to kick start, it the bigger brand Samsung who is eyeing to win the competition. With Galaxy S III might be popping up, we also have a chance that next generation Galaxy Tab will also going to be announced. Let’s discover what the earlier rumours of successor of Galaxy Tab looks like.

Galaxy Tab new model to be showcased at Mobile World Congress 2012 will have a dual core 2 Ghz Exynos 5250 processor and it will be out with 11.6 inches capacitive touchscreen display. This would be something larger than the previous Galaxy Tab 10.1 and this information is not yet clearly confirmed. It’s also rumoured that it will also include the featured called S Pen as that we have seen in the Galaxy Note. So looks like we might have the feature of S Memo and S Planner in Galaxy Tab too?

Galaxy Tab 11.6

The 11.6 inches variant will be out with WXQGA display screen with maximum resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixel resolutions and this tablet will be powered with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich inbuilt by default. So we really would see now tablets coming out with full feature of Ice Cream Sandwich.  Samsung last quarter of 2011 announced the 2 Ghz Exynos 5250 processor featuring the first mobile processor with ARM Cortex A15 CPU within built on 32 nm High K Metal Gate consuming low operating power and will include the Mali T604 to provide the graphical acceleration.

It would be interesting to see how Samsung gives the shape to Galaxy Tab 11.6 inches variants as whether they make it a revolutionary tablet or just a successor of Galaxy Tab! We will hear more about Galaxy Tab 11.6 as we head close to the Mobile World Congress event.

    I believe this would be a nice entry from samsung’s side.People who need heavy multitasknh will own it

      This would be ideal tablet for heavy multi taskers if they can carry 11.6 inches tablet.
