It’s wonderful to have your photos available online so that you can access it from anywhere. The Google Picasa, Flickr, Facebook and other services have made it possible to upload images and make it available public to all the users. The Galaxy TAB is provided with such option of update as well.
In your TAB gallery you can sync all your photos from Google Picasa and other web albums. But you can only view those photos which are taken from your TAB camera and the photos which are web sync are only available when you have data connection on your TAB. Whether it’s a 3G connection or Wi-Fi connection doesn’t matter but to view those web album photos you must need internet access on it.
Accessing Picasa Web Pictures Offline on Galaxy Tab
I am sure you would be thinking a way on how make those pictures available to view whenever you don’t have an internet access, i.e., to make those gallery pictures offline. Here in this context we would be accessing only Picasa web pictures to be available offline for viewing on Galaxy Tab.
Here is the procedure on how to make it available on your Galaxy TAB –
- From your Galaxy TAB go to Gallery.
- Now in your Gallery click on ‘All Albums’ and you would be seeing your camera pictures, screen captures and Picasa web album integrated. The photos from Picasa Web album are easily recognized with the Picasa logo shown on the album name.0
- Tap on the top right corner and among the available options choose ‘Make available offline‘.
- Once you have done that you would see ‘pin point‘ on each album cover image.
- Now tap on each pin point to save the copy of those images on to your Galaxy TAB. As soon as you tap on the icon the image would be caching on to your tablet. You can select as many album as you want and a copy of all those picture would be saved on to your Galaxy TAB internal memory.
