The Taiwanese company Acer unveiled four new affordable smartphones at IFA 2015 event called Acer Liquid Z630, Z630S and Liquid Z530, Z530S. While the Liquid Z630/Z630S sports a large phablet-sized display, Liquid Z530/Z530S are more a selfie-centric device. Today, Acer has officially launched the Liquid Z530 smartphone in India. The smartphone is available online exclusively via Flipkart and is priced at Rs. 6,999.
Coming to its specifications, the Liquid Z530 comes with a 5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD display with Zero Air Gap design offering a pixel density of 294ppi. Under the hood, it comes powered by MediaTek MT6735 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with Mali 400 GPU. The device has 2GB RAM, 16GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card slot upto 32GB.
On the camera front, the device sports an 8MP rear and front-facing cameras. The rear camera of the smartphone also features autofocus and LED flash. The front shooter can capture wider selfies with 84-degree wide angle lens and for better selfie experience the company also included a set of new features like Touch to Capture, Smile Shutter, and Gourmet Mode for this selfie crazy world. The smartphone also features DTS Studio Sound support that delivers terrific sound quality.
The device supports dual sim dual standby and comes with connectivity options like 4G-LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and a microUSB port. The handset comes backed by a 2420mAh battery and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based Acer Liquid UI out of the box. The dimensions of the handset measure 144 x 70.3 x 8.9 mm weighs around 145 grams and is available in colors- Black and White.
