Alcatel has recently launched a camera-centric smartphone in India dubbed as Flash 2 priced at Rs. 9,299. The smartphone is available in Volcanic Grey color variant and is exclusively available for sale online via Flipkart. Recently, the company has launched yet another budget-friendly smartphone dubbed as OneTouch Fierce XL for MetroPCS and T-Mobile at just $139 off contract.
The Fierce XL flaunts a 5.5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD display and comes powered by Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor clocked at 1.1 GHz coupled with 2GB RAM, 16GB of built-in storage and can be further expanded via a microSD card slot for expansion upto 32GB.
The smartphone sports an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing shooter to capture the perfect selfie images. The device comes with the interesting camera as it features the Polaroid mode that can give you the old-fashioned instant camera look through the use of filters. The Polaroid camera mode not only adds the classic white border to your photos but also features a collage maker that allows users to combine multiple shots on a single layout.
Connectivity options on the dual-sim capable device include 4G-LTE, voice over LTE (VoLTE), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS and a microUSB port. The smartphone comes backed by a 2500 mAh battery that can last upto 12 hours of talk time on a single charge and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
The OneTouch Fierce XL will be sold via MetroPCS starting from November 2 for $139 while the T-Mobile will start selling the smartphone later this winter starting from November 30.
