Asus has been releasing a wide range of its devices from past few months and now it has come up with the Asus Fonepad 7, 2014 tablet. This device was originally announced earlier this year in the month of May and is now exclusively available on Flipkart for Rs. 7,499. We have seen that this Taiwanese company has released many devices like the Asus Zenfone 5; Zenfone 6 and Zenfone 4 earlier and all these were budget devices except for Zenfone 6 that was priced around Rs. 17000. Initially, Asus was mostly into the computer hardware when it was found in the year 1989.
The Asus Fonepad 7 2014 will sport a 7 inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. The Tablet is powered by a 1.2 GHz Intel Clover Trail plus Z2520 processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM. The device will be running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Operating system out of the box and has a 15 Wh lithium polymer to power the device.
The Asus Fonepad 7 2014 has a 2 MP rear camera accompanied with VGA camera on the front for video calls. The on-board memory of the device is at 4 GB that can be further extended up to 32 GB via microSD card slot. The device supports 3G networks, and connectivity includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi hotspot.
The Red colour variant of Asus Fonepad 7 2014 is priced at Rs. 8,998 and you also have the EMI option the starts from Rs. 804 every month on Flipkart and the other variants are at Rs 7499 where the EMI starts at Rs. 670. This option is available only for ICICI, HDFC, SBI, AMEX and Citibank credit card holders and also have the option of selecting the EMI option of 3, 6, 9 and 12 months.
