Asus P008 is an Upcoming ZenPad Series Tablet Surfaced on GFXBench

Earlier, we exclusively reported about Asus Zenfone 3 variants popped up on the GFXbench listing that revealed the key specifications of the upcoming smartphones. Today, a new device from Asus has been spotted on GFXBench and is expected to be the next generation Zenpad series tablet. The tablet comes with model number Asus P008 and also includes decent specifications. The Asus P008 has also recently received the FCC Approval in the United States and is expected to be launched soon. The upcoming Zenpad series tablet will be the successor of Asus Zenpad 8.0 that launched in October last year in India.

Asus P008 GFXBench

As per the GFXBench database, the Asus P008 tablet will flaunt a 7.9-inch (2048×1536 pixels) QHD display with pixel density of 324ppi and comes equipped with Snapdragon 650 hexa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz paired with Adreno 510 GPU. The tablet has 2GB of RAM, 16GB of onboard storage and will also include an externalSD card option for further expansion of memory. On the camera front, the device sports an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front camera for video calling and selfie images.

The tablet will run on latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. Connectivity options on the device include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and microUSB port, and we can also expect the brand to launch the LTE variant of the tablet. The FCC documents reveal that the handset will power a 4680mAh battery and also supports fast charging with the provided 5V/2A charger.
