Earlier, Asus introduced two smartphones in its Pegasus series called as Asus Pegasus X002 and Pegasus 2 Plus X550. Now, a new smartphone from Asus dubbed as Asus_X005 has been certified by TENAA listing revealing the key specifications and the images of the device. The Asus_X005 is supposed to be called as Asus Pegasus X005, and we can expect the device to be unveiled in CES 2016 event.
Talking about specifications listed on TENNA, the Asus Pegasus X005 will flaunt a 5.5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) full-HD TFT display offering a pixel density of 401ppi. The device is expected to come powered by unspecified 1.3GHz octa-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone supports dual sim dual standby and will come running on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. On the camera section, the smartphone will sport a 13MP primary camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing shooter for video calling and selfie lovers.
The device will come with 16GB of built-in storage that can be further expanded using a microSD card slot upto 32GB. Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and a microUSB port. The dimensions of the handset measure 155 x 76.4 x 9 mm and weighs around 177 grams. There is no information on the battery capacity of the smartphone, and it will come in Blue, White and Gold color variants. A quick recall, Asus has recently launched an entry-level variant of Zenfone Go called as Asus Zenfone Go 4.5 in India. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 5299 and is available for sale exclusively online via Flipkart. The device features 4.5-inch FWVGA display, MediaTek MT6580 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, 5MP main camera with flash, 1600mAh battery and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
