ASUS ZenFone 2 with 128GB storage, 4 GB RAM Launching this June 18th in Taiwan

ASUS launched the ZenFone 2 last month in India, with the entry-level models offering 2GB RAM available starting at ₹12,999 and the higher-end ZE551ML model with 4GB RAM and 32GB storage set to go up for sale from Rs 19,999. Now a new variant with 128 GB inbuilt storage coming to Taiwan on June 18th. The smartphone has been priced at the $387.

The Asus Zenfone 2 with 128 GB was earlier spotted on Flipkart, last month. The 128 GB variant also supports a 64GB microSD slot card, which is quite an impressive amount of space for a mobile device.

Other features of the Asus Zenfone 2 with 128 GB space are the same: It has a 5.5-inch full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass, a 13-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front camera. The RAM is of 4GB and the processor is the Intel Atom Z3580, Quad Core clocked at 2.3 GHz. In addition to this smartphone runs Android Lollipop and has 3000 mAh Li-Polymer battery. This smartphone has Micro SIM slot and has Dual-SIM support (GSM+LTE).

The Zenfone 2 has sold about a hundred thousand units in Taiwan already. The device will be available in local stores on June 18th, at 10:00 am, this model may be bought with an ASUS ZenPower battery and there may even be a special offer for that product.

Recently, a new ZenFone 2 is likely to be released by ASUS soon, in addition to the eight ZenFone 2 smartphones that the tech maker has distributed worldwide. The device, which was spotted at import-export website Zauba.com, has a model number X551ML and shipped to India for testing. The model number is almost identical with Zenfone 2 with model ZE551ML. It might possibly feature a Snapdragon processor, if not the same ZE551ML variant.
