A couple months ago, Micromax launched a budget friendly 4G-capable smartphone dubbed as Canvas Blaze 4G priced at Rs. 6,999. Now, the company is all set to launch the successor of the Canvas Blaze 4G called as Micromax Canvas Blaze 4G+. The new 4G-LTE smartphone is now listed on the brand’s official website with model number Q144 and comes with better specifications than its predecessor.
Coming to its specifications, the Canvas Blaze 4G+ flaunts a 4.5-inch (854×480 pixels) FWVGA IPS display and is powered by MediaTek MT6735M quad-core processor clocked at 1.0Ghz. The device comes with 1GB RAM, 8GB of onboard storage out of which only 4.5GB available for customer use and also has a microSD card slot for expansion upto 32GB.
On the camera front, the smartphone sports an 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera for video calling and selfie images. As the name indicates, the dual sim capable device supports 4G-LTE connectivity and comes with basic connectivity options like Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and a microUSB port.
The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box and comes pre-loaded with Firstouch launcher that gives live translations to regional languages just by swiping on the keyboard. It also comes loaded with many bloatware apps such as Chaatz, CleanMaster, Newshunt, SwiftKey, Snapdeal, Saavn, Quikr, Hike, Hotstar and also has an app store called ‘App Bazaar’ that comes in regional languages.
The handset comes backed by a 1750mAh battery that is rated to deliver upto 5 hours of talk time and can last upto 200 hours in standby mode. As the smartphone is now listed online, we can expect the company to launch the device soon. Stay tuned for more details on pricing and availability.
