India’s second largest smartphone vendor Micromax has launched a new budget 4G-LTE smartphone in its canvas series called Micromax Canvas Blaze 4G Q400. The new budget-friendly 4G capable Canvas Blaze 4G comes in Black color priced for Rs. 6,999 and is available for purchase from Indiatimes Shopping.
The Canvas Blaze 4G Q400 flaunts a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) FWVGA IPS display and comes powered by Snapdragon 210 quad-core processor clocked at 1.1GHz with Adreno 304 GPU. The device has 1GB DDR3 RAM, 8GB onboard storage with microSD card slot for expansion upto 32GB.
It sports a 5MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing shooter for video calling and selfie clicks. The device supports dual sim dual standby and as the name suggests it comes with 4G-LTE connectivity and other basic connectivity options like Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS and microUSB port.
It comes with many pre-loaded apps such as Hotstar, App Center, Amazon shopping, Skype, Clean Master, Newshunt, Quikr, Chaatz and more apps.The handset comes packed with a 2000mAh battery and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
Canvas Blaze 4G Q400 will be a good competitor for the likes Moto E (2nd generation), recently launched Yu Yunique and many other smartphones available in the similar price tag.
A quick recall, Micromax has recently launched the most affordable 5-inch 3G enabled smartphone running on latest Android 5.1 Lollipop named Canvas Spark 2. The smartphone comes with entry-level specifications and is priced at Rs. 3,999. The device will be exclusively available via Snapdeal starting from Sep 30, 2015 at 12 noon through flash sales.
