So, if you are having an Android smartphone but wanted to experience the messaging app of a Windows phone which is not just sleek but also have got a brilliant visual feel then we will help you experience it. If you thought that for this we will tell you to Root your device / install the custom ROM firmware, then it will not be the case and instead it all takes an App for this experience. Recently, we also came across with the Windows Phone 8 Launcher for your Android phone.
All thanks to Windows Phone Messaging app for android which is developed by Omkar Deshmukh comes with host of options and Settings which are good enough to replicate the user experience of Windows 8 Phone. Though the name of the app is “Messaging 7”, the messaging experience is no less than that of Windows Phone 8 as there are no changes in Messaging app in WP8 than compared to WP7. This app also comes with Offline Message sending support which means that when there is no network coverage, the message will be queued and will be sent when coverage is available.
Brief Overview about the Messaging 7:
- Download and Install the Messaging 7 App from the Google PLAY Store Link which is mentioned at the end of this article.
- Once you open the App, you will see the ‘Coversations” title at the top and then just tap on the “Menu” button and tap on “Settings”. Once the Settings option is opened, you will find options like “Enable Full Screen”, “Enable Pop Up”, Date Settings, Notification Settings, Appearance Settings along with the other settings which will help you choose the background image, incoming message bubble color, outgoing message bubble color etc.
- Also, the theme can be changed between Light / Dark. There are some bugs in this app which will be addressed in the coming days to come and the bugs are;

The best part of this application is that there will be no annoying ads in this app despite this app being Free.
