Droidcon is an international event for the Android users and developers who can share their knowledge about Android, the SDK development and a lot of stuff that is related to Android. It is going to be held at various places around the world like in London, Bucharest (Romania), Brussels, Amsterdam and Berlin. And on November 18th and 19th, it is India hosting the event at Bangalore. Droidcon would be the first International Conference to be held in India. This conference is the response to the growing Android share in the Mobile phone market, and its boom in the market since last year, which is about 888%.
The Droidcon conference in India would be having sessions that are selected by voting from people, and it would provide topics from some of the best Android community speakers. It would be having around 500 delegates coming in, and the voting would decide the sessions to be held, and anyone can suggest a topic if they want to be one of the speakers in the DroidCon.
The Sessions are for 45 minutes each, which would have 30 minutes of presentation and 5 minutes of Q&A, and the 10 minutes would be the transition time for the next session.
Venue of the DroidCon conference:
The Venue for the DroidCon conference in India is MLR Convention Center, Whitefield, Bangalore. There would be 8 sessions per track per day, and 3 tracks would be running parallel at the same time. Workshop sessions are 60 minutes each (50 speaking, 10 minutes for transition between rooms). The keynote speaker for the DroidCon would be Diogo Ferreira from CyanogenMod.

The student discount would be available if there is a valid student ID card is shown to the organizers, and the ticket would be priced Rs. 900 for that student.
Apart from the developer at CyanogenMod, it would be a few other personalities, one of them being from the Amazon AWS team. The DroidCon is also open for sponsors, for all the positions i.e. Community, Silver, Gold and Platinum sponsors.
