The Chinese manufacturer Elephone has listed their P8000 smartphone on Flipkart. The smartphone was launched in China, last month at the price of $210. Some of the other popular Chinese brands that already exist in the Indian market include Huawei, Oppo, OnePlus, Xiaomi, Coolpad and ZTE.
Elephone P8000 sports a 5.5-inch 1080p display. It is powered by the MediaTek MT6753 Chipset with Octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz coupled with a 3GB of RAM. The smartphone has Worldwide LTE support, which means it will function with 4G networks worldwide. It also has 16GB internal storage, and a 4,200mAh battery.
Other features include a 13MP rear camera with LED flash as well as a 5MP front camera. A standout feature of the smartphone is a fingerprint scanner on the back of the device. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop right out of the box.
Last month, the Coolpad entered in Indian market with the launch of its Dazen range of smartphones in India. The smartphones are available through Snapdeal exclusively. It is the same strategy what Motorola, Xiaomi and OnePlus did in India.
