Micromax has launched the Canvas Selfie Lens smartphone, today. The smartphone has been priced at Rs. 8,299. It comes with a clip-on wide-angle lens. The company claims that Canvas Selfie Lens smartphone’s bundled 0.4x clip-on wide-angle lens allows users to click better selfies.
The Canvas Selfie Lens features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core (unspecified chipset) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone runs Android 5.0 Lollipop and supports dual-SIM (GSM+GSM).
Micromax Canvas Selfie Lens sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with Sony sensors and LED flash while also featuring a 5-megapixel front camera. There are inbuilt face beauty mode for skin smoothening, skin sharpening etc. It packs 86GB of inbuilt storage that is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).
It includes a 2800mAh battery that can deliver up to 9 hours of talk time and 374 hours of standby time. Connectivity options on the Canvas Selfie Lens include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, and 3G.
The new smartphone from Micromax will come with bundled data offer from Vodafone offering up to 500MB 3G data free for first two months. The company has announced that the Micromax Canvas Selfie Lens smartphone will be available via online and offline stores in White and Champagne as well as Moondust Grey colour variants.
