It seems like there is no end to Samsung Galaxy series and the devices keeps on coming. For Samsung its Galaxy series for mobile phone and tablets just like we have Optimus for LG and Xperia for Sony Ericsson.
Here comes another entry level Android phone from the Samsung, now the leading Android phone manufacturer in terms of sales. The Galaxy M Style is the new handset that we are talking about and it’s a 4 inches capacitive touchscreen phone with Super AMOLED display. The maximum resolution is tough 640 x 480 pixels. It will be powered with 1 Ghz single core processor and runs on the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. Although it looks highly unlikely that this will receive Ice Cream Sandwich update sooner or later but the users would be ready to take this device as its with Super AMOLED display.
Interestingly, unlike other Samsung phones, this would be with metal body and thickness of the device is just 9.9 mm. Also includes in the phone are the 3 mega pixel camera along with front facing secondary camera is provided too for video chat. The memory which is flash able is 4 GB and there is provision for adding up another 32 GB of memory via microSD card.
Other features are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth connectivity, terrestrial DMB and 1650 mAh battery would enlighten this handset. It will be made available in three different colors namely platinum silver, Blue black and Lavender Pink. Samsung official said that this device will be made available via all the three Korean operators like SK Telecom, Korean Telecom and LG U+ for a price of 50,0000 won equivalent to $ 440.
Also yesterday we have seen the announcement from Samsung that Galaxy Ace Plus is on the line with nearly the same specifications which is global news. If this is launched worldwide it will be younger brother of Galaxy R handset. So its not just the top end handset where Samsung is eyeing the competition but it is keeping a eye in the mid range and entry level handset so that it can boost it sales and continues to be a #1 mobile phone manufacturer. In the pipeline from Samsung we have Galaxy S3 phone coming out at Mobile World Congress in February last week and before that devices comes there will be more devices already launched by Samsung just like M Style is launched.
