Chinese smartphone manufacturer Gionee yesterday launched a new smartphone in China. The Gionee Big Magix is the latest entry in company’s smartphone portfolio. It is priced at 1499 Yuan in China, went on sale and now available in the market. The device comes with a metal body on top and 8.2mm thick. It weighs around 170 gram. The power and volume rocker button are placed on the right side. There is a Gionee logo on the bottom of the back panel with other details.

Talking about the specification of the Gionee Big Magix it comes with a 5.3-inch S-IPS display on top along with 1280*720 pixel resolution screen. It runs on Gionee’s own user interference Amigo 3.5 on the top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It is powered by 1.5Ghz MediaTek octa-core processor along with a Mali-T860MP2 GPU for better performance. It has 3GB RAM on board along with 32GB internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB.
Talking about the connectivity features of device it is a 4G LTE smartphone and comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS and GLONASS. It is powered by a 4000mAh battery. There is a 13-megapixel auto focus rear camera at back along with flash, PDAF. The rear camera also supports time-lapse. There is a 5-megapixel front shooter as well.
Recently, Gionee also launched P7 Max in Indian market with a 5.5-inch display and 13-megapixel camera at back. The device is priced at INR 13,800 in the country. Both devices look similar in design but P7 Max has better specifications. It has 3GB RAM with 2.2GHz MediaTek octa-core processor. There is 32GB internal storage along with memory card support of up to 128GB. Gionee also trying to enter into Virtual Reality segment and launched Gionee S6 Pro which comes pre-loaded with company’s VR app.
