The Chinese smartphone maker, Gionee launched many smartphones this year, and it seems like the company will release a couple more devices by the end of this year. Now, the company is gearing upto launch a new smartphone dubbed as Gionee S6 on November 16 and today the company also teased two new images of the device online. The official press images posted online suggests the design of the device and it mostly resembles the GN9010 model that was spotted on TENAA recently.
The Gionee S6 will feature a 5.5-inch (720×1280 pixels) HD AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top of it. It comes powered by MediaTek MT6753 64-bit Octa-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot for further expansion. The device comes with a hybrid sim slot that can be used as microSD card slot instead of the second sim.
On the camera front, the device will sport a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera for the selfie-loving world. It supports dual sim dual standby and includes connectivity options like 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and a microUSB port. The handset comes backed by a 3150mAh battery that can easily last for one day and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based Amigo UI 3.1.
The device sports premium looks with metal body and is just 6.9mm thick weighing around 145.2 grams. Although the company has officially confirmed nothing, we advise you to take this with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned for upcoming details about the official launch of the smartphone.
