With October 16th being the event announced by Apple, seems like Google wants to setup an event just a day before on 15th October. While there are couple of things which Google fanboys are awaiting from good amount of time, it seems like the wait will finally be over. So let’s check out on what are the things which Google is expected to be released. While there is a high probability and leads that Google has something to showcase this month, 15th October seems to be the speculated date for the announcement.
From the likes of Nexus 9 to the Android Wear 2.0 and Android TV, the list seems to be ever-growing.
Android L:
It’s been very long since the announcement of Android L in the Google IO and now the time has come from Google to come out with the official release of Android L which is slated for the October 15th release. Google had earlier rolled out the Developer preview version to this new OS for the evaluation of 64 bit ART runtime along with the new Material Design which was the new design language by Google. Android L has been released to the beta channel and is all set for the commercial release.
Nexus 9:
Nexus 9 will be the 1st devices from HTC in the form of large screen and it’s a tablet this time. Oh! What a time it will be at HTC as Google has partnered with for releasing the Nexus 9 tablet. As rumored, this tablet will be coming with somewhat similar looks as that of the Nexus 5 with a matte finish back along with the NVidia’s Tegra K1 processor and not to forget the best in class hardware and specs powered with the latest Android L release. This has been rumored for quite a while and it seems like Nexus 9 will be a reality before this year end as Google is yet to reveal their flagship android smartphone and tablet.
Android Wear 2.0:
Google unleashed the magic of android wear quite a sometime back and not its time to give a tough to the Apple Wear technology. All thanks to the open source nature of this android wear which comes with the state of the art capabilities along with the strong developer support, Google is all geared to revolutionize existing smartwatch technology. Google is also expected to release some of the latest innovations on this front. This will be an extension to what we have seen with the MOTO 360 Android watch.
Android TV:
The long rumored Android TV seems to become a REALITY very soon as this. Whilke we are yet to hear any rumors or any clarifications on this front, it seems like this will be yet another revolutionary item on the Google’s launch list.
