Will Google pinch facebook for a new app called as #Messenger? Up till now it was only facebook’s “Messenger” which was the messaging app, but now it seems like Google too likes the same name and will soon be pulling curtains off from its all new messaging app called as “Messenger”. From normal ancient sms client to the integrated hangouts to the upcoming Messenger app for messaging, it looks like Google is moving way faster than ever. So let’s check out the preview of this new app which may be released as early as next month.

The moment one launches the app, the UI undoubtedly gives a feeling of material design because it is the material design. With an action item on the bottom right to the beautiful material design looks along with the blue colored app. To archive the message, all you need to do is to just swipe left or right which is pretty much the same as the existing ones. Avatars have come into this app as just in case if your contact is in the red circle avatar, your conversation with that user will be having the red colored interface with the toolbar as well in the same color.
One can also attach the photos and videos directly on the fly. Additionally, one can also attach the voice recording as well. Group messages, ability to search conversations individual notification control are now a part of this messaging app. The current AOSP messaging app seems pretty much the same.
As of now it doesn’t seem to appear any animations and this app seems pretty much simple and pretty. The list of settings allows one to change the default messaging app, shows the phone number and also comes with other standard options. With Google already disliking to the core when it comes to the Hangouts app, it completely makes sense for Google to launch this app asap!
