The Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Haier has officially unveiled four new smartphones updating its Voyage and Leisure line-up called as HaierPhone V6, V4, L60 and L56 smartphones at the MWC 2016 event in Barcelona. All the smartphones feel rich in hand with all-metal unibody design and will fall in the mid-range category. Apart from the premium looks, all the smartphones offer decent features at the price tag they are offered.
Let’s talk about smartphones in detail:
HaierPhone V6
The Haier V6 is of the highest quality among all the devices and offers impressive specifications. The smartphone flaunts a 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) full-HD display offering a pixel density of 401ppi and 2.5D curved arc glass laid on top. Under the hood, it comes powered by MediaTek MT6750 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz clubbed with Mali-T860 MP1 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It supports dual sim dual standby and is the only smartphone among all the devices that runs on latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. It has 32GB of built-in storage and also includes a microSD card slot fro further expansion of memory.
On the camera front, the smartphone sports a 13MP rear camera with PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, and dual-tone LED flash to capture perfect images even in low-light conditions. On the front, it has an 8MP shooter accompanied with LED flash to capture stunning selfie images. The smartphone sports a fingerprint sensor for enhanced security and comes with connectivity options like 4G-LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and microUSB port. The smartphone comes backed by a 2900mAh battery which we feel is slightly under powered but supports Fast Charging technology. The dimensions of the handset measure 151 x 75.9 x 7.65 mm weighs around 155 grams and is priced at 349 Euros (approx $385).
HaierPhone V4
The Haier V4 is the slightly toned down variant of the Haier V6 smartphone. The V4 flaunts a similar 5.5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) full-HD IPS display with 2.5D arc glass and 401ppi as pixel density. It comes powered by 64-bit MediaTek’s octa-core SoC coupled with 2GB RAM, 32GB storage and further expansion of memory via microSD card slot. The smartphone sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and also includes a fingerprint sensor at the back of the unit. It comes with similar connectivity options and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. The Haier V4 priced at 279 Euros (approx $308) will come in Gray, Gold, Silver and Rose Gold color options.
HaierPhone L60
The Haier L60 is the best device in the Leisure series and offers decent mid-range features. The smartphone comes with a 5.2-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD IPS 2.5D display offering a pixel density of 282ppi as pixel density. The device packs MediaTek MT6735 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with Mali-T720 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It has 32GB of onboard storage with microSD card slot for expansion and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. The handset is equipped with a 13MP primary camera and also includes a fingerprint sensor for security enhancement. The L60 is priced at 246 Euros (roughly $271) and comes in Pink, Gold, and Silver color options.
HaierPhone L56
The Haier L56 is the last one to add to the list and is also the most affordable among all the devices. It features 5.5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD 2.5D display and fuels MediaTek MT6735 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB RAM. The smartphone sports 13MP main camera with dual LED flash and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. It comes with 16GB of built-in storage and also includes an externalSD card slot for expansion of memory.
