Earlier, we exclusively reported about Haier announcing a new mid-range tablet called as Haier Pad 971. Today, the brand has officially announced three new smartphones in mid-range to a high-end category called as Haier L56, Esteem V4 (i701) and an updated version of Voyage V5 in the CES 2016 event in Las Vegas. All the three smartphones come backed by a 2800mAh battery and runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box.
Lets talk about the smartphones in detail:
Haier L56
The Haier L56 priced at $173 is the cheapest among all the three devices, and it comes with impressive mid-range specifications. The smartphone sports 5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) Full-HD IPS display with 441ppi as pixel density and 2.5D arc glass over top of it. It comes powered by unknown quad-core chipset clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with 2GB RAM, 32GB onboard storage and microSD card slot for expansion upto 128GB. On the camera front, the device features a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front shooter for video chats and selfie lovers. The device sports premium build and include connectivity options like 4G-LTE, GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and microUSB port.
Haier Esteem V4 (i701)
The second to add in the list is the upper mid-ranged Haier Esteem V4 smartphone priced at $323. The device sports premium looks with an all-metal body and also features a fingerprint sensor placed on the back for enhanced security. The smartphone features 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) Full-HD display with 401ppi as pixel density. It packs 64-bit MediaTek MT6592 octa-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with Mali T720 GPU and 2GB RAM. The smartphone supports dual sim dual standby and has 16GB of built-in storage with microSD card slot for expansion upto 32GB. It sports 13MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 5MP selfie shooter. The device is very sleek measuring just 8mm at its thickest and weighs around 154 grams.
Haier Voyage V5
The most expensive of all the three smartphones is the upgraded Haier Voyage V5 priced at $356. The smartphone features the same 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) Full-HD display with 401ppi as pixel densitty. Under the hood, is the unspecified 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at 1.7 GHz accompanied with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and microSD card slot for expansion upto 128GB. The device supports dual sim dual standby and comes with connectivity options like 4G-LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB 2.0 port. The smartphone features 13MP Sony IMX214 rear camera with dual tone LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera for crisp selfie clicks. The handset sports sturdy build and also includes a fingerprint sensor for additional security.
