Honor 8 with dual camera and USB Type-C will be launched on 12 Oct in India

We have got an invite for the launch event of Honor 8 in India. Honor is sub-brand of Chinese company Huawei. Honor 8 will be launched at an event on 12 October in New Delhi. It comes with dual rear camera setup along with 3,000mAh battery which supports 4th-gen power saving technology. The device also comes with IR blaster and can be used as a remote controller. This device is third Honor edition of the company after Honor 6 Plus and Honor V8.

Talking about the specification of Honor 8, it is a 5.2-inch display device with Full HD support of 1920*1080 pixels resolution. The pixel density of the screen is 423ppi. The device is 7.45mm thick and weighs around 153 grams. It has a 2.3GHz Kirin 960 octa-core processor along with 3GB/4GB RAM on board. There is 32/64GB internal storage out of the box which is further expandable up to 128GB via SD card.

Talking about the camera of the smartphone, it comes with dual 12MP sensor and f/2.2 aperture. The camera of the device is same as Huawei P9 and P9 Plus. There is an 8MP front camera as well for the selfie.

The smartphone comes with a fingerprint sensor on the back and it can be used as a shutter button on the camera. Plus for accessing notifications panel. On the connectivity front, it is a dual SIM smartphone with hybrid SIM card slots. Hybrid SIM slot means a user can you can insert SD card instead of a SIM card in this place. On the other hand, it has 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2LE, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C support.

The Honor 8 was launched in China a few months ago. The company priced it 1999 Yuan for the 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage model. While 4GB RAM and 32GB storage model priced at 2499 Yuan. The smartphone was launched in Charm Navy, Streamer Gold, Pearl White, Phantom Black and Cherry Pink colour variants in the country.
