Procedure to update Galaxy Ace GT S5830 with Gingerbread 2.3.3:
- First up you will have to download the Complete Gingerbread Package for Galaxy Ace which contains everything ranging from the OPS file to other parameters like Boot, Phone, PDA, CSC and also not to forget the Odin with which you can update your phone. After downloading the complete package, you need to unzip this folder which when done will prompt you to enter in the password, you will have to enter the password as androidadvices.com only after which you will be able to unzip the folder containing all the firmware upgrade tools and components.
- Next up you will have to open the Odin Multi uploader after which you will see a window which is opened like below after which you just need to browse the mentioned files which are shown below from the folder which you have extracted in the above step,
OPS – Cooper_v1.0.ops,
BOOT – APBOOT_S5830XXKP8_CL143019_REV03_user_mid_false.tar.md5,
Phone – MODEM_S5830XXKP8_CL143019_REV03.tar.md5,
PDA – CODE_S5830XXKP8_CL143019_REV03_user_mid_false,
CSC – CSC_S5830SERKP8_CL143019_REV03_user_mid_false.tar.md5,
