How To Update Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100 to Gingerbread XWKE2 2.3.3 Firmware

First up you will have to download the firmware package zip file which consist the XWKE2 update file for Galaxy S2 in which you will also find other tools and files which are required in the updation process. Please note that this is the zip file and you will have to first unzip this to get all the files, so unzip the downloaded zip file to the desktop, please note that if you are prompted to enter in the password then you will have to enter the password as androidadvices.com and after the extraction you will get the above mentioned 3 files as shown below,

So, as soon as you extract the folder, you will get three files which are as shown above, I9100XWKE2_I9100XXKDJ_I9100XEUKD1_HOME, u1_02_20110310_emmc_EXT4.pit and Odin3 v1.83. After extraction, from the extracted files, open the Odin3 v 1.83 file as shown in the above extracted files and then a new window will be opening up as shown below,

Next up, you will have to keep Odin window as it is opened, and then you will have to ensure that you put your phone into download mode. Now, switch off the phone and ensure that you take out any SD Card as well as SIM card if any and keep your phone in the switch off mode. Download mode in Galaxy S II can be entered by pressing down on Volume Down button + OK button, and holding both simultaneously press the Power Button. You can also refer the below picture if you are unable to enter into the download mode.
