HP has launched the HP Slate8 Pro Android tablet with the 8-inch display, and this was a silent launch on their official website after they had announced it along with a few other devices a few weeks back. The other 7-inch tablet devices launched from HP along with this, are the HP Slate7 Plus and HP Slate7 Extreme. The Slate8 Pro has got a HD display under the 8-inch screen having a resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels, and the display provides wide angle viewing, and there is a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The HP Slate8 Pro is priced at $329.99 and there’s quite a lot of justifications for that price. It’s an HD display, and the company has optimized the interface and included several features and apps to take advantage of the NVIDIA Tegra 4 A15 quad-core chipset, which clocks at 1.8 GHz (4 +1 cores in which the extra core is for the battery saving). There is a 1GB DDR3 RAM included and the internal storage provided in the tablet is 16GB, and the storage can be expanded to 32GB with the MicroSD card support.
Running the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS, the Slate8 Pro comes with a few excellent features. Here are a few highlights of this tablet device:

There are two excellent cameras coming in the Slate8 Pro, the 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, Autofocus and HD video recording, and the front one is a 5-megapixel shooter with the 720p HD video recording. The connectivity options included in the tablet device are Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with the Miracast support, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. Having a 5680 mAh Li-ion polymer battery, the tablet is said to provide usage of around 11.5 hours.
The tablet is going to come with the Snow white color having a soft touch back panel, and it is currently available for the price of $329.99 on the official HP store.
