The HP SlateBook 14 has been leaked with some of its images being revealed. This device is likely to be the first Android laptop and is probably going to be a reality soon. The HP SlateBook 14 features a 14 inch touchscreen display as the name suggests and has the resolutions of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The Android version has not been mention but is expected to feature the latest version, moreover it will be running on an unspecified Nvidia Tegra chipset.
As we know notebooks have never used Android as its main platform. Earlier it was used as convertibles along with other Operating systems and also appeared on tablets with dual windows and keyboard but was never used as only OS on a full-on notebook. In the future we can expect many more devices that will run on Android platform.
From the leaks we can say that the device is coming in a color accented design with bright Yellow and Black color, and we can expect it to be available in many other colors giving the users more options to choose from. We can see the large Beats Audio speaker just above the chiclet keyboard and also the front facing camera. All the ports and slots are available with a separate power jack and 3 USB ports. There is a full on HDMI connector, a headphone jack (audio jack) and MicroSD card slot to extend the memory. Moreover the HP SlateBook 14 also has a SIM card slot for using the mobile data on the go.
