The Huawei Ascend P1 has made an appearance finally in the Indian market, with the pricing set at Rs. 12490, and it is available for sale already on the online stores. The smartphone features a 4.3-inch qHD display as well as a 1.5 GHz Dual Core processor and some other decent specs.
It was launched during the CES 2013 and since then, it was making its appearances in the different markets and now finally the device has entered the Indian market. At the time when it was launched in the US market, the pricing of even $400 was looking good for the given specs then, but now the pricing set for it might look like a bit high because of a lot of competitive devices having better specs at the similar pricing.
The display though should get the appreciation for being a Super AMOLED display with scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla glass protection, and the P1 comes with the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box, and we expect it to be getting some updates to the latest Jelly Bean OS in the coming time. The multitasking is supported by 1GB of RAM, and the phone has got an internal storage of 4GB, which gets an external storage option of up to 64GB with the MicroSD card.
Camera wise, there’s a 8 megapixel camera on the rear side, with the Dual LED flash and on the front there’s a decent 1.3 megapixel camera, good enough for the video chatting. The rear camera has got Autofocus and even records videos at Full HD 1080p resolution. The battery included is a Li-ion one with the capacity of 1670 mAh. The device is 7.69 mm thick and weighs around 110gm, and it looks brilliant with the design and the back paneling, having the speaker in the bottom left of the back panel.
