The Chinese smartphone giant, Huawei has been in the rumors for a while now about the launch of its flagship Huawei P9. The recent rumors confirm that the Huawei P9 will come in as many as four variants among them one is a standard P9, a premium P9 with high-end specifications, budget-friendly P9 Lite, and a phablet-sized P9 Max. Today, the live images of the Huawei P9 have been leaked online that offers a clear picture of the design of the upcoming flagship smartphone.

As per the leaked images, the Huawei P9 will sport a slim all-metal unibody design with curved edges. As earlier mentioned, the smartphone has a dual rear camera with dual LED flash and laser autofocus. We can also expect the device to sport dual 12MP rear camera’s made by Leica. The device also houses a fingerprint sensor at the back of the unit below the camera strip. At the bottom edge, the P9 has a USB Type-C port along with the 3.5mm audio jack and speaker grille. The volume rockers and the power button are placed on the right edge of the device.
The Huawei P9 codenamed as ‘Eva’ is expected to feature a 5.2-inch (1920×1080 pixels) full-HD display and will come powered by all-new Kirin 950 SoC clubbed with 3GB RAM and 32GB of built-in storage. The smartphone will pack a 3900mAh battery and will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The premium variant of the P9 is expected to come equipped with Kirin 955 chipset and could also offer 4GB of RAM. Apart from this, there are no other details available about the upcoming smartphone that is confirmed to launch in the first half of 2016. Stay tuned for more information in coming days.

The smartphone comes backed by a 4000mAh battery that is rated to deliver upto 39 hours of talk time, 18 hours of video playback, 15 hours of Internet surfing and also supports Quick Charging. It features 5-inch HD display, 2GB RAM, 16GB of onboard storage, 13MP camera, 5MP front snapper and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
