Huawei had a very successful 2015 as it gained immense popularity all over the world and also raised its profits. The company is expected to announce the recently launched Huawei Mate 8 for the international markets at the upcoming CES 2016 event. Now, few rumors suggest that the brand is also planning to launch its much-hyped flagship Huawei P9 smartphone in the same event.
As per the leaks, the Huawei P9 will come powered by Kirin 950 processor coupled with Mali-T880 GPU and whooping 6GB of RAM. If the rumors are to be believed the Huawei P9 will be the first ever smartphone to come with 6GB of RAM. It is also expected to sport dual rear cameras, one with 16MP sensor and the other with lower resolution for depth of field effect.
The company is supposed to launch the smartphone in two variants Huawei P9 Lite and Huawei P9 Deluxe, and there is no information about the devices apart from the name. The smartphone is expected to sport full metal body and will come with 5.2-inch (1080×1920 pixels) full-HD display. It is also supposed to include a fingerprint sensor for enhanced security that is offered by most devices these days.
Apart from the Huawei P9, the company is also expected to announce a smaller variant called as Huawei P9 Lite with 4-inch display and 4GB of RAM and a phablet-sized variant called as Huawei P9 Max with massive 6.8-inch display size. Recently, a new smartphone from Huawei with model number Honor KIW-AL20 has been certified by TENAA revealing the specifications and design of the device. The Honor KIW-AL20 features 5.5-inch 1080p display, Kirin 950SoC, 3GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage, 13MP primary camera, 5MP selfie shooter, 4G-LTE connectivity and Android 5.1 Lollipop. The device is expected to sport full-metal body and will also include a fingerprint sensor for additional security.
