Tip 2 : Battery Maintenance
For a better life of your battery it’s quite important to go through a battery maintained which can be done by following the below steps –
- The battery contacts which you see in the golden color, should be cleaned regularly at a period of 3 to 4 months with a piece of dry clothes.
- Ensure that you remove your battery when you have turned OFF your phone, the direct pull out when you phone is ON will make the battery contacts loosen up and makes the software don’t run perfectly next time.
- You should never put battery in extreme temperatures like extreme cold and extreme hot like sunlight or other placers as this will spoil the battery immediately.
- You should never put anything above or below the battery shelf while the phone is ON. A lot of users have the habit to place an extra SIM card below the battery or above the battery which may results in bulging of the battery and it may spoil sometimes.
- Generally phone batteries are manufactured with charging of 1000 cycles or the times after which battery should be replaced. There is nothing like locking but it’s generally that way. So unless and until the battery charge prompts you for low battery it’s not recommended to put your phone for charging.
- You should never charge your phone with the help of USB charge connected to your PC when it’s below 40 % as the USB charging employs the trickle charging concept which is not good for battery that charging level. In such cases make use of AC power chargers to power charging your phone.
