Procedure to Update Galaxy Nexus with JRN84D Android 4.1 Firmware:
- Download the Jellybean 4.1 JRN84D Firmware from here to your computer. Once its downloaded, you now need to connect your device with the computer using the Original USB cable and place the downloaded zip file in your device.
- Disconnect the device and turn Off the device so that it can then be entered in the recovery mode. Turn off the Galaxy Nexus so that it can be entered in the Boot loader mode. Boot loader mode can be entered by pressing the Volume Up + Volume Down and then simultaneously press the Power button till you see the boot loader mode screen. Just in case if the phone boots up in the normal mode, then you need to again try entering the device in the boot loader mode.
