Google’s Nexus Player is one of the revolutionary products when it comes to the Android TV and is an answer to the already settled Apple TV which is a true market leader as of now. All you need to have is the Google Drive account along with the APK file of the app which you desire to have on your Nexus Player. - Assuming that you have installed the Google Drive in Nexus Player, you now need to download APK Extractor app in your Android device.
- Once you have installed the APK Extractor App, download the app which you wish to install in your Nexus Player.
- Open “APK Extractor” app in your phone and tap on the small inverted triangle to see two options which are “Share” and “info”.
- Click on “Share” to see various apps with which you can share the same. Select “Google Drive” and then you need to save the APK to your Google Drive.
- Now, the APK will be uploading on to the Google Drive and once it’s done, you should see the small Drive icon in your notifications panel.
- Now in your Android TV device, open Google Drive and head down to the Settings and scroll right till you see “Apps”.
- Click on “Apps” and scroll right to see the Google Drive app. Click on the same to open.
- In Google Drive, you will the list of files which are there in your Google Drive and then you need to locate and click on APK which you wish to install.
- All you now need to do is to just follow the on screen instructions for installing the same. Once installed, you need to click on “Open” for opening the same.
