The Indian smartphone maker, Intex has launched a streak of devices in the recent times, and it seems like there is no stopping Intex. Today, the company has launched a new entry-level smartphone in its Aqua Life series dubbed as Aqua Life III. It is the third smartphone in the company’s Aqua Life range and is priced at Rs. 5,199.
Talking about its specifications, The Aqua Life III flaunts a 5-inch (720 x 1280pixels) HD IPS display and comes powered by Spreadtrum (SC7731) quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. It comes with 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage and microSD card slot for expansion upto 32GB. The dual sim capable Aqua Life III runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
Coming to the camera, the smartphone sports an 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3MP front-facing camera. The rear camera comes with various modes like scene detection, face recognition, low light enhancement, Panorama, Geo-tagging, burst shot, smile shot, and HDR. The smartphone comes with basic connectivity options like 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and microUSB 2.0.
The smartphone comes backed by a 2000mAh battery, which the company claims can deliver up to 10 hours of talk time and up to 300 hours of standby time. The dimensions of the handset measure 145 x 73.2 x 8.9 mm; weighs 157 grams, and is available in colors- Black, Champagne, Gold, and White.
A quick recall, Intex, recently launched a new smartphone called Cloud Swift priced at Rs. 8,888 and is exclusively available for sale via Snapdeal. The Cloud Swift features a 5-inch HD IPS display, MediaTek MT6735A 64-bit quad-core SoC, 3GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera and a 2500mAh battery. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and also comes with unique features like Smart Wake, HotKnot, and Air Shuffle.
