Today, the Indian smartphone manufacturer, Intex has launched a new entry-level budget smartphone dubbed as Aqua Play priced at Rs. 3,249. The smartphone is now listed on company’s official website with complete details and is likely to go on sale in the coming days.
Coming to its specifications, the Intex Aqua Play features a 4-inch (480×800 pixels) WVGA TFT display and comes powered by MediaTek (MTK6572W) dual-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. The device has 512MB of RAM, 8GB of onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card slot upto 32GB. The handset supports dual sim dual standby and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
The smartphone sports 0.3 MP front and rear cameras, but an LED flash accompanies the rear camera of the smartphone. Connectivity options on the device include 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB port. A 1400mAh battery backs the handset that is rated to deliver upto 4 hours of talk time and upto 180 hours of standby time.
The smartphone comes with lots of pre-loaded apps like Cleanmaster, NewsHunt, Quikr, Opera mini, and Matrabhasa. The dimensions of the handset measure 123.9 x 65 x 10.3 mm weighs around 115 grams and will be available in colors- Black, Blue, and White.
A quick recall, Intex, recently launched a new smartphone called Cloud Swift priced at Rs. 8,888 and is exclusively available for sale via Snapdeal. The Cloud Swift features a 5-inch HD IPS display, MediaTek MT6735A 64-bit quad-core SoC, 3GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera and 2500mAh battery. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and also comes with unique features like Smart Wake, HotKnot, and Air Shuffle.
