The Indian smartphone manufacturer, Intex has launched a new entry-level smartphone in its Aqua series called as Intex Aqua Q7 priced at Rs. 3,777. The smartphone is now listed on the company’s official website and is expected to arrive in the markets soon.
Coming to is specifications, the Aqua Q7 flaunts a 4.5-inch (854×450 pixels) FWVGA display offering a pixel density of 320ppi. Under the hood, it comes powered by Spreadtrum SC7731 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz paired with Mali 400 GPU and 512MB RAM. The device comes with 8GB internal storage out of it only 5.5 GB is available for customer use, but can be further expanded via a microSD card slot upto 32GB.
On the camera front, the device sports a 2MP rear camera with flash and a VGA front-facing shooter. The rear camera comes with various modes like HDR, Volume up/down key for capturing Image, capture image during recording, Slow motion video Recording. The smartphone supports dual sim dual standby and comes with standard connectivity options like 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB port.
The smartphone comes with a special feature called Cast Screen and also includes lots of pre-installed apps like Matrabhasa, Follo, Quikr, Intex Play, Opera Mini, Clean Master, FOTA and Newshunt. The handset comes backed by a 2000mAh battery that lasts upto 5 hours of talk time and upto 250 hours of standby time. The dimensions of the device measure 135 x 66 x 9.5 mm and weighs around 106 grams. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box and is available in colors- Grey, White and Champagne.
To recap, Intex has recently launched a mid-range smartphone called as Intex Aqua Super priced at Rs. 10,990. The Aqua Super feaures a 5-inch HD display, MediaTek MT6735 quad-core SoC, 3GB RAM, 16GB storage, 8MP rear camera, 2MP selfie shooter and 2150mAh battery. The smartphone offers 4G-LTE connectivity and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
