The Indian smartphone manufacturer Intex has been busy this year with the launch of devices one after the other. Today, a new entry-level smartphone in its Aqua series has been listed on its official website with pricing details dubbed as Intex Aqua Wave priced at Rs. 2,949.
Coming to its specifications, the Aqua Wave comes with a 4.0-inch (800×480 pixels) TN WVGA display and comes powered by Spredtrum SC7715A dual-core processor clocked at 1.0GHz paired with 256MB RAM. The smartphone has 512MB of internal storage out of which only 87MB is available for the end user, but that can be expanded via a microSD card slot upto 32GB. On the camera front, the device features a VGA camera on both rear and front side but the rear camera is accompanied by an LED flash.
The handset comes with basic connectivity options like 3G, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi, GPS and microUSB port. The smartphone runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS and comes backed by a 1400mAh battery that is rated to deliver upto 3 hours on talk time and upto 200 hours on standby time. The dimensions of the device measure 123.5 x 64.5 x 10 mm weighs around 113 grams and is available in colors- Grey, White & Black.
A quick recall, Intex has recently launched a new entry-level smartphone under its Aqua Life series named as Aqua Life III at Rs. 5,199. The smartphone features a 5-inch 720p HD IPS display, Spredtrum (SC7731) quad-core chipset, 1GB RAM, 8GB onboard storage, 8MP rear camera, 0.3MP front shooter, a 2000mAh battery and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
